Mildred R Laurence

Mildred M. Laurence, a resident of Croasdaile Village in Durham, NC. died May 30 after a period of declining health. Mildred was born December 18 in Schenectady, NY. Her mother, Mary Stellwagen, raised 3 children after her husband Christian Stellwagen died in 1919 during the flu epidemic. Her husband Frank Laurence Jr., preceded Mildred in death in 2000. Until 1990, they lived in Duanesburg, NY when they moved to Homosassa, Fl. In early 2000, they moved to Croasdaile Village. Mildred Worked as a detailer/draftsman at GE in Schenectady, NY. After Franks passing, she took a number of trips with her family and really enjoyed cruising. Surviving are her daughter and son in law, Linda and Jim Hansell of Chapel Hill, NC. and her son and daughter in law, Larry and Linda Laurence of Duanesburg, NY. Her grandchildren are Bonnie Adler(Erich) of Boothwyn, Pa, Tom Hansell of Florence ,SC, Mike Laurence of Coram ,NY and Dave Laurence of Schenectady, NY and her great grandson Kevin Adler of Boothwyn, PA. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon June 5, 2006 at 1 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY. Interment will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Schenectady, NY.
