Mildred D Button

Mildred D. Button 89 of Schenectady died Saturday morning March 24, 2007 at Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home in Albany. Born in Schenectady, she was a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School. Mildred did Bookkeeping and Tax preparation for many years as well as being a homemaker. She was a member of the former Broadway United Methodist Church and a former den mother for Cub Scout Pack #23 and a former President of the mothers Auxiliary of Troop 23 Boy Scouts of America. Mildred is survived by her husband of 68 years Ralph E. Button, three children, Barbara Mereness of Schenectady, Ralph E. Button Jr. and wife Jean of Bradenton, FL. and Bruce A. Button of Claremont, FL., 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning March 29, 2007 at 10:30am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY. Calling hours will be held at the Funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5 to 7 pm. Spring interment in Viewland cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Helderberg Reformed Church, Guilderland Center, NY in her memory. The family would like to extend a "Thank You" to Pauline Philipson and the Staff of Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home.
