Michael Brown

Michael W. Brown 70, passed away unexpectedly on January 20th at his home in Rotterdam.

Born in Niskayuna, NY, Michael was the son of the late Wilbur and Elenor (Button) Brown and a 1971 graduate of Linton High School.

A member of the Schenectady Police Department for over 33 years, Michael retired in 2010 as a Detective after 33 years of service to his community.

Beside his parents, Michael was also predeceased by a brother Richard C. Brown.

He is survived by his beloved wife 43 years Pamela H. (Blanchard) Brown, his 2 children Tracie Alana Brown of Goodyear, Az and Michael R. Brown of Phoenix, Az, his sisters, Laurie J. Brown of Scotia and Kim Sholtes (Neal) of Colonie and several nieces and nephews and extended family members.

A visitation to celebrate Michael’s life will be held on Wednesday evening January 25th from 4 to 7 pm At Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Interment will be private.
