May O Weed

May O. (Osterhout) Weed 70 of Scotia died Monday evening June 27, 2005 at St. Peter's Hospital after a short illness. Born in Albany , she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Florence ( Smith ) Osterhout and a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School and Hudson Valley Community College with a degree in nursing. May was a registered nurse at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady for many years retiring in 1999 and a member of the Bellevue Reformed Church. She was predeceased on October 10, 1964 by her husband Gerald L. Weed Sr. who she married November 6 , 1954. she is survived by her five children; May V. Steiner of Schenectady, Cheryl A. Weed of Danbury, CN., Carol W. Zachmann of Reading, PA, Judy M. Weed of Granville and Gerald L. Weed Jr. of Mt. Home, Idaho, two sisters; Florence A. Willey of Albany and Carol A. Walsh of Raymore, MO and eight grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning June 30, 2005 at 10 am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 pm. Internment in Parkview Cemetery.
