June 2, 1932 — February 5, 2017

May T. Jess, 84, of Rotterdam passed away at Elis Hospital in Schenectady on Sunday February 5, 2017. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late William and Winifred (Connelly) Stanton. May was a home maker. She was predeceased by her husband Edward T. Jess, her son Thomas A. Jess and one brother William Stanton. May is survived by her loving children, Edward W. Jess of Rotterdam, Steven J. Jess (Kimberly) of Charlton, Joanne Perry (William) of Rotterdam, Richard E. Jess (Danielle) of Charleston, SC and Robert B. Jess (Nancy) of Saratoga Springs, her daughter in law Colleen Jess of Scotia, her brother George Stanton (Elma) of Saratoga Springs, her sister in law Eve Stanton of Scotia as well as six grandchildren and one great grandchild. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for May will be on Friday February 10, 2017 at 10:15AM at the Bond Funeral Home 1614 Guilderland Avenue Schenectady followed by a Memorial Mass at 11AM at St. John the Evangelist Church 806 Union Street Schenectady. A visitation will be held Friday from 9AM-10:15AM at the funeral home prior to the mass. Contributions can be made in May's memory to the City Mission of Schenectady 425 Hamilton Street Schenectady, NY 12305.
