Matilda Vine

Matilda "Tilly" Parker Vine, 97, of South Thompson Street in Rotterdam died Tuesday January 25, 2005 at The Dutch Manor in Rotterdam. Born in Schenectady, Matilda is the daughter of the late John W. P. Vine and Jennie Parker Vine. She is a graduate of Nott Terrace High School and the Spencer Business Institute. Matilda was employed for over 40 years as a Bookkeeper for Neal O. Sheldon Supply Co. in Schenectady. Survivors include a niece Rosemarie Schmidt and her husband William of Rotterdam, one nephew Raymond W. Vine of Rotterdam, two cousins Mary Smith of Scotia and James Parker as well as several great nieces and nephews and great, great nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be Private at the convenience of the family at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Spring internment will be Held in Vale Cemetery in Schenectady.
