Mary L Rockwell

Mary L. Rockwell, 70, of Bernice Street Rotterdam died Saturday October 28, 2006 at Ellis Hospital after a Courageous Battle with Cancer and Acute Respiratory failure. Mary was born in Schenectady and was the daughter of the late Stanley and Leitha (Armstrong) Aldhous. She was once employed as a Realtor for the former Legacy Realty Co. in Rotterdam. Mary was employed for 14 years as a Clerical Worker for NYS Tax and Finance in Albany. She was a member of the NYS retirement Association. Mary enjoyed her children, grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking for her family, doing Crafts, and Traveling. Mary also enjoyed her Dog-Gremlin. She is predeceased by two brothers and two sisters. Mary is survived by her husband Bruce Rockwell whom she married July 11, 1971, seven children Barabara Niedhammer of Rotterdam, Dorothy Thomas (Darrell Wilczynski) of Oxford, Michigan, Christine Thomas of Rotterdam, William Thomas and Kimberly Wolf both of Florida, Bruce Bucky Rockwell Jr. of Schenectady and Captain Brian Rockwell of Rotterdam(presently serving in Iraq) also survived by 5 grandchildren-Sara, Ryan, Tarin, Megan, and Raymond and 2 great Grandchildren Brianna and Nicholas.A Memorial Service will be held Thursday evening 8PM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours will be 6-8PM on Thursday evening prior to the service.
