Mary Gordon

Mary H. Gordon 80, passed away peacefully at home on Monday morning August 9, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Niskayuna, NY, Mary was the daughter of the late Walter and Alma (Livingston) Vedder and a 1959 graduate of the former Draper High School.

A travel agent for more than 21 years for Wade Tours, Mary was a member of Christ Church of the Hills. An animal lover, Mary will be truly missed by her devoted canine companion Vegas.

Predeceased in 2009 by her husband of 49 years Harry H. Gordon, Mary is survived by her children John R. Gordon (Late Diane) of Rotterdam and Jennifer K. Harrington (Rick) of Duanesburg, grandchildren Nicki Storm Harrington and Raymond J. Gordon (Lea), great grandchildren Hunter James Gordon and Lucas Ray Gordon, sisters Audrey Wade (Robert) of Pattersonville and Kay Palochak (Late Fred) of Florida and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Mary’s life will be held on Tuesday August 17th at 2 pm at Christ Church of the Hills, 4809 Mariaville Road, Rotterdam, NY, Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Mary’s memory to the St. Joseph’s Indian School, 1301 North Main Street, Chamberlain, SD 57325
