Mary Dyrgall

Mary E Dyrgall, 97, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2022.

Born and educated in Schenectady, Mary was the daughter of the late Jacob (Fred) and Katherine (McGrath) Schoeffler and a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School.

Mary was united in marriage on June 24, 1950, to Victor J Dyrgall and they made their home in Fort Lee, NJ for over 50 years. Mary was an avid NY Yankee fan and loved spending time at Jones Beach with Victor.

In 2006, Mary and Victor relocated to Schenectady to be closer to relatives and became residents of the Kingsway Community. While Mary was living at Kingsway, she took up playing WII bowling and bingo.

Predeceased in 2006 by her devoted husband of 56 years, Victor Dyrgall, Mary was also predeceased by her brother, Fred Schoeffler and his wife Yola and her sister Catherine Drebitko and husband Simeon. Mary is survived by cousins, Arlene and Patty and several nieces and nephews.

Her family would like to thank all the wonderful staff at Kingsway Assisted Living who made Mary's golden years filled with love and joy.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 22nd at 10:00 AM at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Niskayuna, NY.
