Mary Anna Daviero, 94, of Schenectady passed away Sunday October 28, 2012 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Dominick and Maria Carmina (Califano) Iacobucci. Mary was a glove maker at the former Glove Factory on Cutler Street in Schenectady. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Schenectady. Mary was active with her children and their sports activities. She was a master crocheter, gardener, bird lover and an expert cook. Mary was predeceased by her husband William M. Daviero, her brother Joseph Iacobucci and two sisters Rose Favata and Angie Aldi. She is survived by four children Vincent J. Daviero (Carol) of Hudson, Fl., Maria Brown (Paul) of Guilderland, William R. Daviero of Portland, ME and Cheryl Ledet (Eric) of Guilderland, one sister Esther Carnevale of Schenectady, also survived by 4 Grandchildren Jeniffer K. Safarik (Bill), Jessica McRoberts (Patrick), Philip Brown and Isabella Ledet, two great Grandchildren Sydney and Laura Safarik and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be Saturday November 3, 2012 at 11AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church Pleasant Street Schenectady. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Mary's memory to the Audubon NY 200 Trillium Lane Albany, NY 12203 or at http://ny.audubon.org. Arrangements are by the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady.
