Mary Ramos (Calderon)

Mary Ramos of Schenectady passed away early Friday morning October 26th at Kingsway Arms Nursing Home. Born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico in 1927, Mary was the wife of the late Jenaro Ramos for almost 50 years. Mary lived and worked in Schenectady and was an active member of the Jehovah's Witnesses in Schenectady She was the mother to 5 children; Mary Ann Capone (Anthony) of Burnt Hills, Victor Ramos (Colleen) of Ballston Lake, Diane Schleede (Christopher) of Guilderland, Jenaro T. Ramos (Karen) of West Charlton and Generosa Tomaszewski (Peter) of San Jose, CA. Mary is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. A memorial talk will be held for Mary on Friday evening November 2, 2018 at 7:30 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY. A visitation for family and friends will start at the funeral home on Friday at 5 pm prior to the talk. Entombment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park, 2150 Central Ave, Schenectady, NY 12304 on Saturday morning November 3rd at 10 am. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Mary's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 2150 Central Ave, Schenectady, NY 12304 or to the Schenectady Kingdom Hall, 1720 Albany St, Schenectady, NY 12304.
