Mary M Brousseau

Mary M. Brousseau, age 87 of Schenectady, NY entered eternal life on January 19, 2022.

Mary was born in Schenectady, NY. She was the daughter of Italian immigrants, the late Benjamin and Lucia Venditto. She was the wife of the late Albert Brousseau, Sr. Together Albert and Mary were devoted parents to four beautiful children. Mary was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and a friend.

She was a kind and caring person. Mary enjoyed cooking a pot of sauce and pasta on Sunday for the family to gather. She devoted her adult life to the church. She was a eucharistic minister, a member of the Third Order of St. Francis and a member of the Rosary Society. Mary’s morning ritual included daily mass and then coffee with “the gang” at one of the local coffee shops. She enjoyed being with others.

Mary held positions at Niagara Mohawk Power Co., WT Grants and BJ’s warehouse.

Mary is survived by her four children Albert, Jr. and his wife Pat Brousseau. Joanne and her husband John Stinzianni, Joseph and his wife Maria Brousseau, and Michele and her husband David Hasso; eight grandchildren, Jennifer, Kathleen, Kristina, Emilio, Nicholas, Robert, Matthew, and Justin and four great grandchildren, Connor, Mackenzie, Zoe and Sloan. She is predeceased by her sisters, Antoinette Venditto and Bessie Hewitt; and brother Angelo Venditto. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass to celebrate her life will be held at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 210 Princetown Road in Rotterdam, NY on January 25, 2022 at 10:30 am and interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Schenectady, NY. Friends and family are invited to attend and visit with Mary's family prior to the mass from 8:45 to 9:45 am at Bond Funeral home, 1614 Guilderland Ave. Schenectady, NY. Masks are required in the funeral home and church.
