Martha May Dutcher Zink, 95, passed away early Tuesday morning June 27th at Baptist Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Scotia. Born and educated in Wallingford, VT, Martha was the daughter of the late Ernest and Isabell (Stephens) Dutcher. A former supervisor with Schenectady OTB prior to her retirement, Martha had also worked as a Matron at the Schenectady County Jail and had worked for Field Security Service as a private eye. Devoted to family, Martha was an avid reader, enjoyed doing ceramics in her younger years and was a member of Women's Auxiliary of the Veterans Organization in Altamont. Predeceased by her husband's Michael Buckley and Jerome Zink, Martha was also predeceased by her beloved daughter; Frances Daye Dutcher. She is survived by her grandchildren; Jamie Capullo (Greg) of Schenectady, Amie Dutcher (Bill Valentine) of Mechanicville and Bernard Dutcher (Ronda) of Houston, TX, 7 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 12 noon at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY, relatives and friends are invited to attend. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 11 to 12 pm prior to the funeral service. Interment will be held at 2 pm at Warren Cemetery in Boytonville , NY following the service in Schenectady. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Martha's memory to Schenectady City Mission, 425 Hamilton Street, Schenectady, NY 12305
