Marlene Smith (Martin)

Marlene Smith, 87, of Rotterdam passed away on Saturday July 29, 2023 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late James and Mildred ( Porter) Martin.

She was the former owner and operator of Jewett’s Motor Court in Schenectady.

Besides her parents, Marlene is predeceased by her brother James Martin, her sister Deborah Frederick, her nieces Kimberly Martin and Tina Bell and nephew Jimmy Martin.

Marlene is survived by her loving son Jeff Smith and his wife Nicole and one niece Melissa Wiggins (Eugene).

Services for Marlene will be private for the convenience of the family at Viewland Cemetery in Rotterdam.
