Marlene E. Johnson, 78, of Schenectady died Wednesday at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Nicola and Margaret (Anunziatta) Giagiacumo. Marlene was a homemaker. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Schenectady. Marlene is predeceased by three brothers- Albert Giacomo, George Giacomo, Richard Como and one sister Palmie Mottke. She is survived by one son Conard Johnson of Rotterdam, two daughters Theresa Johnson of Schenectady and Mary Dunn of Newington, CT, three brothers Donald Como of Burnt Hills, Frederick Como of Charlton and Armond Como of Rotterdam, one sister Lillian Giagiacumo of Rotterdam, also survived by three grandchildren Grant Haws, Cody Dunn and Rita Dunn as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be Friday at 11AM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. A Calling hour will be 10-11AM prior to the service at the funeral home. Internment will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Schenectady. Contributions can be made in Marlene's memory to Community Hospice 1411 Union Street Schenectady, NY 12308.
