Marjory M. Eichmeyer,87, passed away on Saturday morning October 10th in the arms of her daughter in Schenectady, NY.
Born and educated in Quebec City, Canada, Marjory was the daughter of the late Edward and Irene (Bowen) Feeney.
A homemaker and stay at home mom, Marjory was devoted to her family. Active in her church, Marjory was member of the former Immaculate Conception Church and Our Lady Queen of Peace. She was a former volunteer with Bingo and active with the afterschool program at I.C.C. Marjory enjoyed home decorating, loved her cats, shopping, the casino’s, her Canada and her Irish heritage.
Predeceased in 1989 by her beloved husband Donald G. Eichmeyer, who she married on April 19, 1952 and her daughter Mary Irene Marra in 2016. Marjory is survived by her son John E. Eichmeyer of Saratoga, her daughter, Donna T. Eichmeyer of NYC, grandsons, Jason Marra (Darcy) of Guilderland and Scott Marra (Brian Vogel) of Schenectady, great grandchildren Briana, Kyla and Aidan and her son-in-law, David Marra of Schenectady.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday morning October 15th at 8:45 am at Bond Funeral Home, 1614 Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY followed at 9:30 am at Our Lady Queen of Peace, 210 Princetown Road, Rotterdam, where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. A visitation for Marjory will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 pm (COVID 19 restrictions as to masks, social distancing and occupancy will be in place at the funeral home and church)
Entombment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Mausoleum.
