Marjorie Talbot (Ostrander)

Marjorie Talbot, 89, of Schenectady passed away peacefully at Glendale Home on Friday February 10, 2023. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Beulah (Clute) Ostrander.

She graduated in 1953 from Mont Pleasant High School. Marjorie was employed for 25 years as a school crossing guard of the Schenectady City School District and had also been employed as a sales clerk for SS Kresgie Department Store. She also became a home maker.

Marjorie was a member of the Bellevue Reformed Church in Schenectady.

She is predeceased by her husband Ronald Talbot whom she married October 2, 1954, her brother Byron Ostrander (Late Ruth), her sister Elizabeth Looman (Late Walter) and her grandson Christopher Talbot.

Marjorie is survived by her son Ronald Talbot (Sherry) of Schenectady, her daughter Janice Talbot of Rotterdam, her two grandchildren Ronald Talbot Jr. and Brenda Shannon. She is also survived by two great grandchildren Evelyn and Cooper as well as several nieces and nephews.

Services for Marjorie are private at the convenience of the family.

Spring interment will be in Woestina Reformed Cemetery in Rotterdam Junction.
