Marjorie E. Willey, 89, of Rotterdam passed away Saturday December 10, 2016 at Ellis Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in Pattersonville, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Marion (Bradshaw) Jeffers. Marjorie was employed for 10 years for the Credit Bureau in Schenectady. She was a member of Christ Church of the Hills in Rotterdam. Marjorie was a loving mother and grandmother. She was always there when needed. She loved to travel and go out to eat. One of her favorite pastimes was to watch the motorcycles depart the Harley Rendezvous each year in Mariaville. Marjorie loved animals especially Shelties. Also one of her great pleasures was to have her nails done. Marjorie will always be fondly remembered for saying," If you don't want me to go don't ask." She is predeceased by her husband Martin J. Willey. Marjorie is survived by her two loving sons Lyle Willey (Deborah) of Rotterdam and Lynn Willey (Regina) of Rotterdam, also survived by her two loving grand daughters Amanda Willey and Morgan Willey amd her dog Buster. Funeral Services for Marjorie will be Wednesday 10AM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Calling hours will be Tuesday 6-8PM at the funeral home. Spring internment will be in Woestina Reformed Cemetery, Contributions can be made in Marjorie's memory to the Animal Protective Foundation 53 Maple Avenue Scotia, NY 12302.
