April 26, 1932 — August 30, 2008

Marjorie E. Colose 76 of Schenectady died Saturday August 30th at her home after a long illness. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late James and Harriet (Guynup)Clough and a graduate of Nott Terrace High School. A homemaker, Marjorie was a devoted wife , mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years James R. Colose Sr., her son, James R. Colose Jr. and wife Barbara of Niskayuna, grandchildren, Timothy and Lora Colose of Niskayuna, her brother, James Clough of Beacon, NY, sisters, Beverly Restina(Richard) of Scotia, Alice Buell and Joyce Mone (Nicholas) both of Schenectady and several nieces and nephews. Marjorie was also predeceased by a sister Lillian Clough and 3 brothers, Larry, Richard, and David Clough. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday morning September 3, 2008 at 9:15am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave., Schenectady, NY followed at 10am at St John the Evangelist Church, Union St., Schenectady where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5 to 8 pm. Interment in Memory's Garden, Colonie, NY. Contributions may be made in her memory to the Parkinson's Association, William Black Medical Research Building, New York, NY 10023
