Marion C Schiavo

Marion C. Schiavo, 73 died Wednesday October 18, 2006 at her home after a short illness. Born in Taylor, PA., she was the daughter of the late William and Marion Smallacombe. Marion worked as a Real Estate agent for over 28 years and was presently employed at Coldwell Banker. Marion was a member of the National Association of Realtor's, 1st Presbyterian Church in Schenectady where she was a deaconess and a member of the church choir. Marion is survived by her husband Richard P. Schiavo and her three children; Melinda Sanford of Rotterdam, Brian Schiavo of Hauppauge, NY and Mark Schiavo of Scotia, a grandson Corey Schiavo and a brother Nathaniel Smallacombe of Florida. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday morning October 25, 2006 at 10 am at 1st Presbyterian Church, Union Street, Schenectady with a reception following at 11 am in the church hall. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Marion's memory to Corey Sanford College America Fund, GWN Securities, 376 Broadway, Schenectady, NY 12305.
