Marion A. Legere

Marion A. Legere, 103, of Duanesburg passed away at home on Saturday December 30, 2023

Marion was born and educated in Schenectady. She was the daughter of the late George and Virginia Slingerland. She was a graduate of the former Draper High School.

Marion, an accomplished seamstress, loved working out at the gym and spending time with friends and her family. She was co-founder of the Albany branch of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

She was predeceased, by her husband Raymond P Legere. Marion was also predeceased by two sons Gregory P Legere and Lawrence D Legere.

Marion is survived by her children Maureen (Louis) VanDyck, of New Castle, Delaware, Margaret (William) Miles, of Chesapeake, Virginia, Barbara (John) Conwall, of Fonda, New York and Thomas D Legere of Duanesburg, New York. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Marion will be on Friday January 5, 2024 at 11AM at the Bond Funeral Home 1614 Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Visitation will precede the service from 9-11AM.

Interment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Niskayuna.
