Marion Lathrop

Marion V. Lathrop 104 of Scotia passed away early Monday morning April 25th at Capstone Center for Rehabilitation and nursing in Amsterdam, NY.

Born and educated in Schenectady, Marion was the daughter of the late Ward and Marguerite (Haynes) Winchester and was a graduate of Niskayuna Schools.

A former bookkeeper at the Knolls Atomic Power Laboratories in Niskayuna, Marion was a former volunteer at both Proctors and at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. A lover of plants and flowers, Marion had also worked as a florist at one time.

Beside her parents, Marion was also predeceased by her beloved husband Robert. She is survived by he sister Evelyn Gray of the State of Washington, her niece, Audrey Williams (Dan) of Niskayuna and her great nephews, Kevin Ruiz, Brian Ruiz and Tim Williams.

In keeping with Marion's request, services will be private.

Interment in Memory Gardens.
