Marilynn J Deleva

Marilynn J. DeLeva 78 of Scotia died Thursday December 9, 2004 at St. Clares Hospital after a long Illness. Born in Schenectady, NY, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Blanche (Orlop) Furness. A housewife, Marilynn was a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School and a member of the Ladies of the Rotterdam Elks, Rotterdam Senior Citizens and Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Marilynn was predeceased in 2003 by her husband for 57 years Joseph DeLeva who she married on October 3, 1946 and a sister Carol Stubberrud. Survivor's include two children, Dale Peterson and husband Daniel of Glenville and Mark DeLeva and wife Phyllis of Mariaville, two grandsons; Joseph and Matthew DeLeva, two sisters; Beverly Starkey of Dallas ,Texas and Shirley Serapilio of Schenectady and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday morning December 13, 2004 at 8:15 am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY followed at 9 am at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Princetown Road, Schenectady where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home Sunday evening from 5 to 7 pm. Internment in St Cyril's Cemetery.
