Marilyn F Mead

Marilyn F. Mead,84, passed away unexpectedly on Friday morning March 24th at her home in Rotterdam. Born and educated in Rotterdam, Marilyn was the daughter of the late Mark and Florence (Cavell) Manderville and a graduate of Schenectady Schools. A former member of St Pauls Episcopal Church, Marilyn worked for the Schalmont School District as a Bus Aide for many many years prior to her retirement. Predeceased in 1988 by her husband Roland Mead, Marilyn was also predeceased by her son Kenneth Mead in 2008 and several siblings. Marilyn is survived by her daughter; Karen Herrick (James) of Schenectady, her nephew and caretaker; Erwin VanAntwerp (Linda) of Rotterdam, her daughter-in-law; Terri Mead, her grandchildren; Lynsdy and Kieth, sister; Roslyn Moser and several other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning March 28th at 11 am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10 to 11 am prior to the funeral service. Interment will be in Schenectady Memorial Park in Rotterdam, NY.
