Marilyn A Iffland

Marilyn A. Iffland, 66,of Rotterdam, died peacefully on Monday April 7, 2008 at the Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home in Albany. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Sample) Hildreth. She was a graduate of Draper High School. Marilyn was employed as a Secretary for the Roth and Hilicus Insurance Co in Rotterdam. She was a member of the Princetown Evangelical Presbyterian Church. Marilyn was a member of the Glendale Rebekah Lodge, the Mont Pleassant Lodge IOOF and the Program Committee for the Princetown Hour Glass Seniors. She was also a past State Officer for the Rebekah Assembly. Marilyn is predeceased by her husband George H. Iffland. She fought her Cancer with dignity, great courage, optimism and the strength of the Lord. She remains and inspiration to all of us. Marilyn is survived by her two children Heather Inge (Jarrett) of Renton, WA and Erich C. Iffland of Rotterdam, also survived by two Grandchildren Ashley and Tristan Inge. A graveside Funeral Service will be Friday April 11, 2008 at 12 noon at Schenectady Memorial Park Giffords Church Road in Rotterdam. A Memorial Service at 1PM will immediately follow at Trinity Reformed Church Corner of Curry and Westcott Road in Rotterdam. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend both services.
