Marilyn E Hoffman

Marilyn E. Hoffman, 84, of Tyler, Texas passed away peacefully on March 31st at the East Texas Hospice Facility. Born on January 24, 1925 in Delanson, NY she was the daughter of the late Elliot and Leona (Tree) Quant. Marilyn had been a resident of Tyler, Texas since 2004, formerly living in Schenectady where she spent most of her life. She was a visiting nurse for 25 years and belonged to the Visiting Nurses Association in Schenectady. Marilyn was also a member of the Bethel Bible Church in Guilderland. She was predeceased by her husband, Edwin Hoffman, a son David Kittle in 1984, and a sister Myrna Shafer. Marilyn is survived by her four children, Wayne Elliot Kittle of Tyler, TX, Diane Leona Gaut (Tim) of Tyler, TX, Lee Kittle of Scotia, NY, and Gary Kittle of Temple, TX. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren. A Memorial Service to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be held on Saturday April 25th at 10am at the Bond Funeral Home, Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Inurnment will take place in Esperance Cemetery. In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions can be ma de in Marilyn's memory to Hospice of East Texas, 4111 University Blvd, Tyler, Texas 75701.
