Marilyn Norum Busch, 83, of Rexford passed away Friday September 27, 2013 at St. Peter's Hospice Inn in Albany. Born in Aberdeen, SD, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Gusta (Youngren) Norum. Marilyn was a graduate of St. Olaf College in Minnesota. She retired as a Food Inspector for the NYS Thruway Authority. Marilyn was a member of the Sons of Norway and the choir at the Coburg Village in Rexford. Marilyn is predeceased by one son David Norum Busch and one brother Philip Norum. She is survived by her two children Steven Busch (Lucille) of Binghamton and Nancy Busch-Scardino of Katskill Bay, NY, one sister in law Vonnie Norum of Mound, MN, also survived by two grandchildren Stephanie Busch Westervelt (Jason) and Spencer Scardino and one great grandchild Hudson David Westervelt. A Memorial Service will be Saturday October 5, 2013 at 11AM at the Chapel at Coburg Village 1 Coburg Village Way in Rexford. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Private internment will be in Memory's Garden in Colonie. Contributions can be made in Marilyn's memory to the Norum-Oden Scholarship Fund St. Olaf College 1520 St. Olaf Avenue Northfield, MN 55057.
