Marilyn M Snare (Burns)

Marilyn M. Snare 83 passed away Friday evening December 18th with family by her side. Born in Schenectady, Marilyn was the daughter of the late Warren and Helen (Fay) Burns. A graduate of Mont Pleasant High School and Albany Business College. Marilyn had worked for the General Electric Company before leaving the work force to raise her family. A member of Christ Community Church, Marilyn was an avid bowler. She loved to travel and spending time with her beloved family at there summer camp on Lake George. Marilyn was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Robert E. Snare in 2011 and was also predeceased by 2 of their daughters, Linda Fay Atwell and Diane H. Snare. She is survived by her beloved daughter Janet E. DeRusso (Craig) of Ballston Spa, her cherished grandchildren, Danielle Tortorici (Daniel), Rebecca Atwell, Sarah Richburg (John) and Craig DeRusso and her 3 adored great grandchildren, Christina Rose, Hunter and John Joseph III. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday morning December 23rd at 11 am at Christ Community Church, 1010 NY Route 146, Clifton Park, NY 12065. A visitation will take place from 10 to 11am prior to the services in the church chapel. Inurnment in Memory's Garden. Contributions may be made in Marilyn's memory to Christ Community Church or to St. Peter's Hospice Inn, 315 South Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208
