Marietta D Dupont

Marietta D. Dupont, 93, of Rotterdam passed away on Saturday June 27, 2015 at the Glendale Home. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Celestia (Kirtland) Zeller. She was employed as an underwriter for the Schenectady Insurance Agency. Prior to that, Marietta was employed as a sales clerk for Montgomery Wards and also was a telephone operator for the YWCA in Schenectady. She was a member of the former Immaculate Conception Church in Schenectady . Marietta enjoyed gardening, traveling, reading mystery books and doing computer email. She loved her family very much and was a devoted mother, sister and friend. The family would like to thank the Nurses, Aides and Hospice staff of the Erie Crossing at the Glendale Home for their care and compassion of Mom. Marietta is predeceased by her husband Robert J. Dupont whom she married October 8, 1942, her sister Dorothy Hancox and her husband Charles and two sister in laws Gloria Zeller and Patricia Zeller. She is survived by her two daughters Patricia Comley (Richard) of Glenville and Linda Frenette (Robert) of Port Townsend, WA, one sister Karen Boudreau (Thomas) of Pittstown, NY, five brothers Philip Zeller of Albany, Kenneth Zeller of Quaker Springs, NY, Donald Zeller of Bennington, VT, Alan Zeller (Raelinda) of Mechanicville, NY, Bruce Zeller (Barbara) of Quaker Springs, NY, also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Memory's Garden in Colonie.
