Marian R Bosy

Marian R. Bosy, 84, of Scotia passed away at home on Saturday, May 14, 2016. Born in Auburn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Mildred (Nettleton) Erickson. Marian was employed as a dispatcher for the Glenville Police department. She also was employed for many years as a school crossing guard in Scotia at the corner of 5th Street and Vley Road. Marian was a loving and caring person. She found joy and dedication much of her life caring for children, not only her own, but also those in her extended family, and neighborhood. Marian is predeceased by her husband Stanley Bosy and son Stanley Bosy II. She is also predeceased by her brothers Donald Erickson, Kay Erickson, and sister Ella Smith. Marian is survived by her loving children Marc Bosy (Kim) of Rotterdam, NY and Thomas Bosy (Karen) of Warrenton, VA, brother Douglas Erickson (Marie) of Rotterdam, sister Jeanette LeGere (James) of Scotia, daughter in law Christine Bosy of Scotia, also survived by 8 grandchildren Morgan Schewe, Josh Bosy, Alexa Bosy, Jessica Campana, Justin Bosy, Katelyn Gordon, Mathew Coffin, Michael Coffin as well as 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Inurnment will be at Park Cemetery in Scotia." Arrangements are by the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady.
