Marguerite A Serra (Martin)

Marguerite Ann Serra (Martin) also known as "Peggy", 67 passed away surrounded by her family Saturday evening, January 14th, at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, NY. A graduate of Mt Pleasant High School, Peggy worked for the NY Telephone Company and she also worked in the service industry at establishments such as Marino's Flying Pizza, Ruby's Silver Diner, and Stewart's Shops. Peggy was proceeded by her husband Sebastiano A Serra. She loved making crafts, playing cards, cooking, baking and most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren. Peggy is survived by her mother Norma Martin and her children: David Serra (Lanee), Christina Brion, (Christopher), Lisa Serra, Norbert Torres, as well as her 7 grandchildren and many cousins. A celebration of Peggy's life will be held on Saturday afternoon at 1 pm at Bond Funeral Home located at 1614 Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home from 11am - 1pm prior to the service Graveside funeral services will be held in the spring at Slate Hill Cemetery in Sharon Springs, NY.
