Marguerite Broughton

Marguerite Broughton 92 of Wallace Avenue, Scotia and formerly of Schenectady died Tuesday afternoon September 4th at The Avenue Nursing Home in Schenectady. Born in Schenectady, Marguerite was the daughter of the late Elmer and Ruby Broughton. A former waitress in Schenectady at various restaurants, she was predeceased by her sister, Irma Broughton and brothers, Ralph, Robert and Glen Broughton. Marguerite was the dear friend of Jlynn Baker of Scotia and Jane Schmedidel of Schenectady. Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon September 7th at 2 pm at the Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave., Schenectady, NY. A visitation will precede the service at the funeral home from 1 to 2 pm. Interment will be in Parkview Cemetery, Schenectady, NY. Contributions may be made in Marguerite's memory to Oswald D.
