Margaret Peggy Mills

Margaret Peggy Mills, 58, of Schenectady passed away Thursday May 1, 2014 at Ellis Hospital after being stricken at home. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Mildred (Kergel) Mills. She was a graduate of Linton High School and attended Schenectady County Community College. Peggy was employed as a Clerk for OTB in Schenectady. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Schenectady and volunteered in many church activities. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by one brother Robert Mills. Peggy is survived by her brother Harold Mills (Marcia) of Rotterdam and one sister Millie Jamison of Tucson, AZ, also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be Friday 2PM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. A calling hour will be 1-2PM prior to the service. Inurnment will be in Parkview Cemetery in Schenectady. Contributions can be made in Peggy's memory to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church 1255 Pleasant Street Schenectady, NY 12303.
