Lynnette Shoultz

April 12, 1971 — September 2, 2024

Lynnette Shoultz was born on April 12, 1971 to Ruth Richardson and the late Henry Shoultz. Lynnette was born in Albany NY but shortly after her birth, her family moved to San Diego CA, which is where she grew up and attended public school.  Serval years later, Lynnette moved back to New York to be near her mother.  Lynnette worked at Dollar General and cared for the elderly, as well as her children.

Lynnette became a member of New Day C.E.C. on May 22, 2016 where she attended service, Women's (L.O.V.E.) meetings, and sang with the women's choir.  Lynnette rededicated her life to Christ and was baptized on April 30th, 2023.

Lynnette was a stay-at-home mom who loved surrounding herself with her children and grandchildren.  She was the type of person that did not like feeling alone; so when it was too quiet in the house, she would yell for her kids just to make sure they were there.  Another thing Lynnette would do is randomly call someone just to talk about whatever.  She enjoyed watching TV, playing card games on her phone and making people laugh.

Lynnette became ill but was a fierce fighter during her struggle through the illness.  However, on September 2nd, the Lord decided to bring her home to be with Him.

Lynnette was the daughter of Ruth (Stanley) Richardson; she was a mother to 12 children:  Maurice Knight,  Raylyn Knight,  Raymond Knight Jr., December Knight, Sarah Dallas, Anthony Smith, Brodrick Knight,  Danika Johnson, Shanece Stewart, Eric Faison, Erica Faison, and Mikayla Brown; she was a grandmother of 26 grandchildren.  She was a sister to Annie "Cookie" Crocker, Joshalyn (Myron) Mitchell and the late Daniel Shoultz.  Also mourning her loss is a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, several aunts and uncles, as well as friends.
