Lynn M Roney

Lynn M. Roney, 71, of Schenectady passed away peacefully and went home to her husband Charles on Saturday January 1, 2022 at Albany Medical Center. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Noreen Bonanzo .

She was employed as the head of Human Resources for the Schenectady Police Department for over 20 years and was very passionate about her work.

Lynn is predeceased by her husband Charles B. Roney and one brother John Jegabbi.

She is survived by her three loving sons Jarod A. Roney (Amy) of Glenville, Jason M. Roney (Ashley) of Glenville and Jeff C. Roney (Paula) of Schenectady, her sisters Cheryl Angerami (Joe and their son Michael) and Toni Duval (Darren) of Navarre, Fl. Lynn is also survived by her five loving grandchildren-Alex, Samantha, Jameson, Charles and Paige as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Lynn to celebrate her life will be Thursday January 6, 2022 at 1PM at Bond Funeral Home 1614 Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Visitation will be from 10-1pm prior to the service.

Interment will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Glenville.
