Luz M. Hernandez

Luz M. Hernandez 65, passed away suddenly Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Albany Medical Center with her husband and daughter at her side.

Luz was born and raised in Bronx, New York the daughter of Hosana Hernandez and Victor Ramos. She was a resident of Palm Bay, Florida since 1992. Luz was a homemaker, foster mom, and loved to cook and share recipes.

Luz is survived by her husband Diosdado Rodriguez; her daughter Natalie Rodriguez; her son Miguel Ramos; Daughter-in-law Carmen Cintron; and stepdaughter Lisandra Rodriguez. She is also survived by her sisters Mildred Hernandez and Marilyn Giovannetti; and her brother Ismael Jr. Hernandez.

Luz loved being a grandma (Ita/Abuela) to her six grandsons Carmelo Ramos, Joel Tejada, Darian Ramos, Victor Ramos, Aaron Ramos, and Joshua Simmons; her two granddaughters Lyandra Tejada, and Lauralena Montanez; and her great grandson Jeremy Jr. Candelario.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation, Saturday November 4, 2023 from 3pm to 5pm with service following from 5pm to 6pm at Bond Funeral Home.
