Lucy Zeppetelli

Lucy A. Zeppetelli 89 of Scotia, died Sunday November 25th at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Born and educated in Schenectady, Lucy was the daughter of the late Samuel and Josephine (DePalma)Lezzi. An Army veteran of WW II, Lucy worked as a hairdresser for 15 years and later worked for New York State in the tax department as a clerk. She was a member of St Anthony's church and the Sacred Heart Society. She was predeceased in 2006 by her beloved husband of 60 years Anthony Zeppetelli. Lucy was the loving mother of JoAnn Zeppetelli (Gary Colwell) of Tops Field, MA and Peter Zeppetelli (Anne) of Scotia, loving grandmother of Katie Jean Zeppetelli and Josephine Casey Zeppetelli, the sister of Anthony Lezzi of Schenectady and aunt of Millie White (Peter). Lucy was also survived by several other nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday morning November 28th at 10:30am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave., Schenectady, NY followed at 11 am at St. Anthony's Church, Seward Place, Schenectady where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 9 to 10:30 am prior to the funeral mass. Interment in St. Anthony's cemetery, Glenville, NY. Contributions may be made in her memory to the American Red Cross.
