Lucy Mary Liberatore

Lucy Liberatore of Schenectady, NY passed on to the Lord on February 13, 2016. Ms. Liberatore was born in Ansonia, Connecticut on October 17, 1928. The daughter of Josephine Cremonie and William Liberatore, she attended Schenectady schools and graduated from Royal Beauty School. Lucy worked as a child day care provider for many years in Schenectady and Virginia. She also was a hair dresser for many years. She enjoyed her grandchildren and cooking and baking for her friends and family. She loved animals, especially her children's animals and her Yorkshire Terrier, Tigger. She is survived by her children Rick Wasniewski (Stacey), Kim Brown (David), Dean Wasniewski (Annemarie) and Lee Aquino (Sam). She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren; Megan Demarest, Holly Wasniewski-Pigeon, Mandy Brown, Joshua Brown, Toby Wasniewski and Erica Wasniewski, and her 3 great grandchildren; Emma Pigeon, Elliott Steckler, and Quinn Pigeon, her sisters Lorraine Andreano (Richard), Francine and brother Alfonse. She was preceded by three brothers; Anthony, William and John, and sisters Marie Battaglia (Al) and Angeline Cremonie. Services are private. Lucy will be cremated and interned in the family plot at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mom's memory to The Alzheimer's Foundation of America. http://www.alzfdn.org/
