Lucas James Wesley

Lucas James Wesley, 29, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Los Angeles, CA on Wednesday August 22, 2018. Born in Knoxville, TN, Lucas was the son of Eileen (Bond) Wesley of Glenville and the late Dr. James D. Wesley. A graduate of Burnt Hills High School and SUNY Plattsburgh, Lucas was a blogger for the Richest.com and Interbang.com. A highly regarded DJ with WQKE Radio in Plattsburgh, NY. Lucas also did private parties as a DJ. While at SUNY Purchase he learned the trapeze and was an aspiring stand-up comedian in Los Angeles. Predeceased by his father Dr. James Wesley, Luke was also predeceased by his grandparents; Robert and Joan (Donnelly) Bond and Raymond and Jean (Jackson) Wesley and his uncle Raymond Wesley. Beside his beloved mother Eileen of Glenville, Luke is survived by his sister; Rebecca Wesley of Rotterdam, his aunts and uncles; Maureen and Tobie Gabriele of Bluffton, SC, Christopher and Cathy Bond of Raleigh, NC and Robert and Deborah Bond of Glenville and his many cousins. A celebration of Luke's life will be held on Tuesday evening September 11, 2018 from 6 to 8 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY. Interment will be in ParkView Cemetery on Wednesday morning September 12th at 10 am, relatives and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Luke's memory to a charity of choice.
