Louise Eglintine Hotaling 88 of Rotterdam died Saturday afternoon March 12, 2005 at Glendale Nursing Home after a long illness. Born in Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Anna (Jurosko) Berlin and a graduate of Scotia High School. Louise worked as a waitress for Veeder's Restaurant for over 15 years before retiring in the mid 1970's. and was s also a member of the Broadway United Methodist church. She was predeceased in 1977 by her 1st husband Albert Eglintine and in 1992 by her 2nd husband Richard Hotaling. Louise is survived by her children; Carol Altavilla of Rotterdam and Douglas Eglintine and wife Ami of Dallas ,Texas, a brother; Thomas Berlin of Schenectady, a sister Elizabeth Vernon of Glenville ,five grandchildren; Jodi Eglintine, Sheri Beebe and Brandi McDonnell all of Texas, Richard Eglintine of Utah and April Campbell of California, seven great grandsons, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning March 16, 2005 at 11 am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY. A calling hour will precede the service at the funeral home from 10 to 11 am. Internment in Park Cemetery, Scotia, NY. Contributions may be made in Louise's memory to a charity of one's choice.
