Loretta Leffingwell

Loretta M. Leffingwell, 98, of 4th Avenue Schenectady died Thursday March 20, 2008 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy after a short illness. Born in Colonie, NY, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Martha (Waters) Richardson. Loretta was raised in Rexford, NY. She worked for many years in the Kitchen in Woolworth's Department store in Schenectady and later became a homemaker. Loretta was a member of the former Albany Street Methodist Church in Schenectady. She is predeceased by her husband Clayton E. Leffingwell whom she married June 22, 1928 and one daughter Laurel Leffingwell and several Brothers and Sisters. Loretta is survived by 8 Children Francis Leffingwell (Lucille) of Schenectady, Kenneth Leffingwell of Schenectady, Donald Leffingwell of Rotterdam, Doris Albers of Schenectady, Raymond Leffingwell (Barbara) of Schenectady, Kathleen Panis (Frank) of Clifton Park, Gloria Bouleris (Gerald) of Schenectady and Robert Leffingwell of Schenectady also survived by 13 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be Tuesday March 25, 2008 at 11AM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours will be Tuesday morning 9-11AM at the funeral home. Internment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park in Colonie.
