Lois Ann Guerra (O'Brien)

Lois Ann Guerra,81, passed away Wednesday morning November 29th at her home in Rotterdam. Born and educated in Albany, Lois was the daughter of the late Edward and Edna (Quinlin) O'Brien and a graduate of St. Joseph's Academy and Spencer Business Institute. A homemaker, Lois was a former Bookkeeper at Mohawk National Bank, a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, a member of the former Immaculate Conception Church and its Rosary Society. She always cherished her time spent with family, especially with her grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Michael U. Guerra Sr., Lois is survived by her three cherished children; Michael U. Guerra Jr. of Valrecco, Fl., Mark D. Guerra of Rotterdam and Michele M. Schirmer (Michael) of Springfield, MA and their children; Sidney, Taylor and Jordan Schirmer. A service will be held on Monday December 4th at 8:15 am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY followed at 9 am at Our Lady Queen of Peace, 210 Princetown Road, Rotterdam where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Inurnment will be held on Tuesday December 5th at 2 pm at Saratoga National Cemetery.
