Linsley G. Brundege, 73, passed away early Friday morning February 1, 2019 at Sturgill Hospice House in Brooksville, FL.
Born and educated in Schenectady, Linsley was the son of the late Caleb and Vivian (Budine) Brundege and a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School.
Retiring as a refueling engineer for Knolls Atomic Power Laboratories in Niskayuna, after over 30 years of service, Linsley was graduate of the General Electric Apprentice Course and had attended HVCC. He was a member of the G.E. Quarter Century Club, the N.R.A., the Hernando County Gun Club, the Camera Club and a former member of the Mayfield Yacht Club.
Beside his parents, Linsley was predeceased by his son Timothy Brundege, his brother, Guerdon Brundege and sister, Eleanor Geddes. He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Lynn E. (Hall) Brundege of Spring Hill, his daughter, Christine E. Kurkowski (Brian) of Clifton Park, his grandsons, Jerry Brundege and Hunter Delano, his sister, Brenda Roddy of Rotterdam Junction and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday February 8th at 1 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY. Family visitation will be held at from 12 to 12:30 pm with a public visitation at the funeral home from 12:30 pm till 1 pm prior to the service.
Interment in Schenectady Memorial Park in Rotterdam, NY.
