Linda M "Auntie" Jones (Jones)

Schenectady – Linda M. Jones passed away on August 17, 2023 at her home in Schenectady following an illness.

Linda was born in Manhattan, NY on November 19, 1961, the daughter of Benjamin Miller and Rozamae Jones. Following high school, Linda found she enjoyed working for the Board of Elections as a poll worker, something she made a point to do every year.

When Linda wasn’t at work, she enjoyed making photo collages and loved animals. She always had a pet, no matter where she was. She also loved cooking, but her favorite pastime was spending time enjoying her grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her 5 children: Vincent, Rose, Christina, Natasha, and William; 9 grandchildren; her 4 sisters: Kimberly, Wanda Jean, Veronica, Tracey, and 1 bother: Lawrence; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is also survived by her pets: Joy Joy and Knight Knight.

She was predeceased by her parents; her brother: Kevin; and a twin sister: Brenda Lee.
