Lillian Marie Vedder (Rudman)

Lillian Marie Vedder, 100, passed away Tuesday morning June 21st at her home at the Royal Palm Retirement Center. Born is Springfield, Ma, Lillian was the daughter of the late Axel and Bertha (Peterson) Rudman. A homemaker, Lillian taught Japanese Bunko Embroidery for over 30 years in both New York and Florida. Predeceased in 2002 by her husband Earl J. Vedder Sr. and her daughter Christine Marie Vedder in 1960, Lillian is survived by her son Earl J. Vedder Jr. of Lake Helen ,Fl, her granddaughter, Julia Vedder Sims ( James) and great granddaughter, Christiana Abrams. She is also survived by her sisters Evelyn Petryk and Florence Petersen (Tom) and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday morning June 27th at 11 am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 to 11am prior to the funeral service. Interment in Schenectady Memorial Park in Rotterdam.
