Lillian H Case

Lillian H. Case, 85, of Hamburg Street Rotterdam died Sunday July 15, 2007 at home. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Owen and Jessie (Monroe) Slingerland. Lillian was employed in the Research Lab at the GE Knolls Atomic Power Lab and later in Housekeeping for the former Silver Haven Nursing Home in Rotterdam. She was a member of the former First Baptist Church in Rotterdam. Lillian is predeceased by her husband Raymond Case whom she married July 27, 1978 and one son Kenneth Vaeth. She is survived by one son Kurtis Vaeth of Florida and two daughters Karen Teal ( LeRoy) of Rotterdam and Kathy Hastings ( Randy) of Scotia, Loving Grandmother of 3 Grandchildren- Karl Vaeth, Robert M. McGee III and Robyn A. Weaver, Loving Great Grandmother of 4 Great Grandchildren- Nicholas J. George, Cora L. Weaver, Taylor Elizabeth Weaver and Killian R. McGee. Funeral Services will be Thursday 4PM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours will be Wednesday evening 6-8PM at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Schenectady Memorial Park in Rotterdam.
