Leroy C Teal

LeRoy C. Teal,83, of Rotterdam passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Friday March 19, 2021. Born in Albany, NY, he was the son of the late Roy and Florence (Harris) Teal.

He was employed for many years as a mechanic for the Rotterdam Town Highway Department. LeRoy was member of the Rotterdam Eagles.

LeRoy loved Fonda Speedway and was passionate about cars, fishing hunting and camping.

Dad we love you and know you are in a better place and are the happiest you’ve been in years.

LeRoy is survived by his daughter Karen Condon (Brian) of Rotterdam, one son Alan Teal (Elizabeth) of West Virginia, two brothers Richard Jones of Rotterdam and Larry Teal of Pennsylvania, one sister Linda Jones of Rotterdam and seven grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services for LeRoy will be on Wednesday evening at 5PM at the Bond Funeral Home 1614 Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. A Visitation will be from 4-5PM prior to the service. Face masks and social distancing are required.

Spring interment will be in Viewland Cemetery in Rotterdam
