Leonard L Forman

Leonard Lawrence Forman, 82, of Niskayuna, NY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Guilderland Center Nursing Home. Born on February 23, 1934 in New York, NY, He was the son of the late Charles and Gertrude Forman. Leonard is survived by his beloved wife Myra of 59 years, daughter Sheila, sons Daryl, Michael (Linda), and Joseph as well 6 grandchildren and extended family. Leonard was a man of high intellect with a passion for real estate and financial investing. He graduated from The Bronx High School of Science and received a B.S. from CUNY, Masters in Chemical Engineering from Union College and did post-graduate work at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Prior to his retirement in 1996, he was employed by General Electric and Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory and served for two years in the U.S. Air Force (San Antonio). A special thank you to Gary Eichenbaum and his wife Sue for their loving care and support. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 22nd at 10:00 AM at Bond Funeral Home in Schenectady.
