Lenore Jones

Lenore Jones, 97, of Pattersonville passed away on Monday July 29, 2013 at Wilkinson Nursing Home in Amsterdam. Born in Schenectady, Lenore was the daughter of the late John and Laura (Ennis) DeMott. A homemaker, Lenore was an active member of Woestina Reformed Church in Rotterdam Junction. Family was very important to her and she loved to go dancing with her husband. Lenore is predeceased by her husband, Richard Jones whom she married on October 6, 1936. She is also predeceased by her daughter Sherry Lee Jones, daughter-in-law Joanne Jones, her brother Robert DeMott and one nephew Richard DeMott. Lenore is survived by her son Douglas W. Jones of Pattersonville, her sister-in-law Grace DeMott of Pattersonville, nieces, Debbie Bonneville, Sandy DeMott and Nancy DeMott as well as 2 grandchildren, Cheryl Carroll and Brian Jones and one great grandchild Mia Addison Jones. Funeral services for Lenore will be private at the convenience of the family. Internment will be at Woestina Reformed Cemetery.
