Lena Motti Lenta 93 of Woolsey Street died Saturday morning July 9, 2005 at Kingsway Arms Nursing Home after a short illness. Born in Costionne, Italy she was the daughter of the late Constante and Esther (Mozzi) Motti. A homemaker, Lena was a long time member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, a member of the Mont Pleasant Senior Citizen's and attended the Mont Pleasant meal site. Lena's life centered on her family. She loved cooking, gardening and traveling. She was predeceased in 1986 by her husband Alexander Lenta who she married on August 5, 1933. Lena is survived by two children; Sandra L. Riedinger and husband Walter of Ft. Wayne, Indiana. and Edward A. Lenta and wife Barbara of Bluffton, SC., five grandchildren; Wayne Riedinger of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Wade Riedinger of DeMoyne, Iowa, Mark Riedinger of Urbana, Ohio, Kenneth Lenta of Frederick, MD and Heidi Moore of Rochester, NY, ten great grandchildren and her cousins; Leno Mozzi of Schenectady, Edy Mozzi of New Jersey, Esther Muscanell of Schenectady, Joan Ballmes of Malta and the late Zita LaSalle. Funeral services will be held Tuesday Morning at 10:15 am at the Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady followed at 11 am at Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. A calling hour will be held prior to the service at the funeral home from 9:15 to 10:15 am. Internment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
